SynPepBio

The Research Training Group on Bioactive Peptides

Peptide research has become of significant importance in both academia and industry. Moreover, there is a high demand for well-trained and knowledgeable researchers in this field. For this reason, the Research Training Group (RTG) on "Bioactive Peptides - Innovative Aspects of Synthesis and Biosynthesis" called SynPepBio provides a modern educational program on peptide research for PhD students. The RTG comprises 11 research groups focusing on molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, structural biology, computational chemistry, synthetic techniques and analytics. It thus provides state-of-the-art knowledge and methods for the bioanalytical characterization of peptides.
